The Join4Energy foundation works to raise as much money as possible for research into energy metabolism disorders. That money goes directly towards supporting research into the disease.

Without it there is no hope of a medicine, and without that medicine 70% of all children with this disease die before their eighteenth birthday.

Join4Energy organises the Mont Ventoux Challenge every year. Over that weekend, as many participants as possible attempt to cycle up Mont Ventoux. Join4Energy offers participants a fully organised trip, towards which each participant pays a personal contribution. Participants also commit to raising money through sponsorship. The target is € 1,000 per participant. In 2012 the Challenge takes place from 31 May to 3 June.
